Swimmers Attend Wilson Hall Invitational

The JPII swim team traveled to Sumter on Saturday, September 7, to participate in the Wilson Hall Invitational with ten other SCISA member schools. JPII entered eight swimmers in this meet. We enjoyed the competition and achieved many high scores for our girls' and boys' teams. Wilson Hall was a very hospitable host! 

JPII Warriors Girls Team

  • Girls Medley Relay:    Winslow, Daniel C, Daniel A, Hannagan, S – came in 2nd place overall.
  • Girls 200 Freestyle Relay:    Daniel C, Hannagan, Winslow, Daniel A – came in 3rd place overall.

Individual Events

  • Cypress Daniel finished in the top 3 in the 200 IM (2:58.13) and finished in the top 10 in her 50 Free (29.15).
  • Anson Daniel finished in the top 10 in her 100 Backstroke (1:20.91) and in the top 15 for her 50 Free (30.71).
  • Nel Winslow finished first place in her 500 Freestyle (6:39.44) and finished in the top 20 for her 50 Freestyle (31.20). 
  • Sofie Hannagan placed in the top 8 in her 100 Freestyle (1:11.41) and finished in the top 10 in her 100 Breaststroke (1:34.34) – dropping almost 4 seconds!

JP II Warriors Boys Team

  • Boys 200 Freestyle Relay:    Keefer, Daniel R, Hannagan J, Brosman – finished in the top 10 - dropping 6.3 seconds.
  • Boys 400 Freestyle Relay:    Keefer, Daniel R, Hannagan J, Brosman – finished in the top 5 – dropping almost 7 seconds!

Individual Events

  • Jack Hannagan finished in the top 20 in his 50 Freestyle (33.73) and finished in the top 20 in his 100 Freestyle (1:18.15).
  • Hayes Keefer finished in the top 25 in his 50 Freestyle (34.96) and finished in the top 20 in his 100 Freestyle (1:19.01).
  • Brinson Brosman finished in the top 10 in his 100 Freestyle (1:06.11) - dropping 20 seconds!  He finished in the top 10 in his 100 Backstroke (1:14.30) - dropping almost 2 seconds!
  • Rugby Daniel finished in the top 25 in his 50 Freestyle (36.32) and finished in the top 25 in his 100 Freestyle (1:27.86).
