The JPII Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) hosted its first-ever BBQ, Brews, & a Band fundraiser on Saturday night—and it was a tremendous success! The evening brought together parents, faculty, and supporters of JPII for a fun-filled night that not only built community spirit but also raised funds to benefit our students and school.
“Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural PTO BBQ, Brews, & a Band fundraiser Saturday night,” said Miranda Shipman, JPII PTO president. “Your presence and support of our event made it a huge success, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.”
The event featured a delicious BBQ dinner, an impressive selection of craft beer and wine, and live music that had everyone on their feet. Guests also participated in a silent auction, which turned out to be one of the night’s highlights. “From the delicious food, wonderful craft beer and wine, to the rocking band and our lively silent auction, those in attendance are what made our night,” Mrs. Shipman added.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of the JPII community, ticket sales far exceeded expectations and the silent auction was a standout success. The proceeds from the evening will go directly toward PTO initiatives that will enrich the school experience for all of the JPII community.
“With your support, we are able to help make a difference for our students and school,” Mrs. Shipman said. “I truly want to thank everyone who helped make this event possible.”
Special recognition to Emily Termotto-Trott for organizing the event, along with the dedicated volunteers who did a terrific job decorating the athletic center and stayed late to help with cleanup. Their hard work and enthusiasm were essential to the event’s success.
“Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts for your excitement and support of our PTO,” Mrs. Shipman concluded. “Stay tuned—we have great plans for the future!”
