JPII Track & Field Races to Top Finishes Against Tough Competition!

The Golden Warriors track and field team hit the ground running on Saturday, traveling to Whale Branch for the highly competitive Marwin Kline Invitational. With 15 teams battling for top spots, JPII was the only SCISA team in the mix—proving once again that we can compete with the best! Both the boys and girls squads sprinted, jumped, and threw their way to impressive 4th place team finishes, with several athletes taking home medals.

  • Lukas Yackley stood atop the podium as our Marwin Kline Invitational Champion, dominating the competition with a first-place finish in Shot Put! Lukas racked up an impressive 16 points on the day, also placing 4th in Discus and 8th in Triple Jump.
  • Blake Hubik displayed his endurance, securing 11 points for the Warriors by taking 3rd in the grueling 3200m and 5th in the 1600m.
