Join Us on Thursday, September 26, at 8:45am in the JPII Athletic Center as Special Operations Lieutenant Bill Ferrelli, Support Division/Special Operations Bluffton Police Department, addresses the most common dangers or threats that our children and teens face on social media today. Lieutenant Ferrelli will address the following topics and more:
- What are the most common dangers or threats that children and teens face on social media today?
- What proactive steps can parents take to protect their children while still allowing them to engage
- with social media responsibly?
- How has the landscape of social media dangers evolved over the past few years, and what should parents be especially aware of now that they might not have been concerned about before?
- What warning signs should you look for that may indicate your child is experiencing trouble online?
This is just the first in a series of parent seminars JPII will present throughout the year as we look to build that all important partnership between home and school. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Rembold if you have a topic you would like to see covered.
