JPII Inducts 42 Scholars into the National Honor Society

John Paul II Catholic School proudly inducted 42 students into the National Honor Society (NHS), recognizing their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character—the four pillars upon which the esteemed organization stands.

Membership in the NHS is one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students. To qualify, candidates must maintain an exceptional academic record, demonstrate leadership in school and community activities, perform significant service hours, and uphold the highest standards of character and integrity.

Principal Heather Rembold congratulated the inductees and expressing gratitude to parents and faculty for their continued support, commending the students for living out JPII’s mission in their daily actions. “You have already shown that you are leaders in our community—students who represent the very best of JPII,” she said.

President David Lima reminded students that while academic excellence is essential, “the world is filled with intelligent people—and intelligence alone is not enough. What truly distinguishes an NHS member are the morals and ethics that guide their choices.” Mr. Lima encouraged the new members to “lean on the foundation you have built here—your values, your faith, and the moral compass that has guided you to this point.”

This year’s new inductees include:
