JPII Inducts 2025 National Junior Honor Society Members

John Paul II Catholic School proudly inducted 18 students into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) during a joy-filled ceremony. Families, faculty, and classmates gathered to honor students who exemplify the five core pillars of the NJHS: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.

The ceremony opened with a welcome from President David Lima, who recognized the inductees for their academic excellence and commitment to serving both school and community. A special prayer followed, asking for God’s continued guidance as these students use their gifts in the service of others.

NHS President Ivan Vera introduced the significance of NJHS membership and explained that each inductee earned this honor by demonstrating the organization’s foundational qualities. Current members then highlighted each pillar—lighting symbolic candles representing scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.

Inductees reaffirmed these values by reciting the official NJHS pledge before receiving their certificates. This year’s newly inducted members are: Julia Andreoletti, Anna Asbrey, Ella Asbrey, Roman Bodziony, Connor Clark, William Clarke, Riley Covington, James del Mazo, Cia Douglass, Madeline Hardy, Ella Meadows, Zane Meadows, Victoria Mouhalis, Alessandro Pepe, Isabella Reed, Kennedy Schmitz, Stella Shipman, and Leighton Wenzel.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Lima thanked the faculty and families whose support helps students grow as leaders and scholars rooted in faith and integrity. A reception in the lobby followed as guests celebrated the achievements of the newest NJHS members.

Congratulations to our 2025 National Junior Honor Society inductees—young leaders already making a positive impact at JPII and beyond.
