The John Paul II girls varsity basketball team tipped off region play with an electrifying performance, securing a commanding 61-26 victory over Wilson Hall on January 7. This decisive win showcased the Warriors’ teamwork, determination, and relentless defensive effort, with every player contributing quality minutes on the court.
Leading the charge were Lauren Majorkiewicz, who lit up the scoreboard with 15 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds, and Lily Termini, who delivered an all-around standout performance with 13 points, 5 assists, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals. Ellie Heathcott and Savannah Trott added to the offensive fireworks with 10 and 8 points, respectively, rounding out a balanced and dynamic team effort.
