Last week, our school community came together for a memorable Homecoming Week despite the challenges brought by Hurricane Helene. As always, we were impressed by the resiliency and strength of our students, faculty, and families. While the storm did hamper some of our festivities, we remain grateful and blessed that our community fared better than many others in the hurricane's path.
Spirit Week brought an energy to the halls with themes like "Dress Like a Clown Day," "Twin Day," "Dress as a Circus Animal," and "Cotton Candy Colors." Unfortunately, the hurricane’s impact meant we couldn’t enjoy the highly anticipated Friday night HOCO Tailgate or football game. However, our students made the most of the situation, enjoying a fantastic Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
A special thank you goes out to the students who dedicated their time and talents to planning and decorating for the HOCO Dance, and to the faculty members who graciously volunteered to chaperone. Your efforts made the night one to remember!
We continue to offer our prayers and support to those in our community and the country who are still without services or recovering from the storm’s aftermath.
