A Note of Thanks from Drama Director Emily Brown

Thank you, JPII Community, for your rousing support of the JPII Theater Department and our incredibly talented students as they brought Bye Bye Birdie to life this past weekend! This high-energy production was filled with laughter, music, and heart—and none of it would have been possible without the enthusiasm and encouragement from every corner of our school family.

I'm beyond proud of our cast and crew—not only for their dedication and quality performances but for the teamwork, spirit, and joy they poured into every rehearsal and scene. Watching them grow in confidence and shine on stage has been a true gift.

I’m equally grateful to be part of a community that shows up for its students time and time again. Whether you were in the audience clapping along, working behind the scenes, helping with set design, spreading the word, or cheering us on from afar—your support made a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Booster Club for creating a fun, themed concession experience with the “Birdie Diner,” and to our generous sponsors who help make these productions financially possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make Bye Bye Birdie a soaring success!
